When in office, what will you do to reduce harm and ensure there is social and economic equity for Black Long Islanders? If you are an incumbent, what policies/initiatives/laws have you supported that do this?

As a Town Councilmember, I will work to ensure that Huntington is a place where opportunity, safety, and prosperity are shared by all residents—regardless of race, background, or zip code. That begins with accountability and access. I will advocate for transparent hiring and contracting practices within town government, ensuring that minority-owned and women-owned businesses (MWBEs) have equal access to municipal opportunities.

I will also prioritize investment in affordable housing and infrastructure in historically underserved neighborhoods, while supporting small business growth and workforce development programs that create sustainable, local jobs.

Beyond economics, equity means representation. I will support community advisory boards and partnerships with local organizations, churches, and youth programs that amplify Black voices and strengthen civic participation. My approach is rooted in fairness, integrity, and service- values instilled through my time at West Point and a Captain in the Army- and I will bring that same discipline and empathy to every decision that affects our community.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know about your campaign?

My campaign is about restoring trust and transparency in local government. I’m not a politician- I’m a lifelong Long Islander, a veteran, an attorney, and a neighbor who believes that government should listen, act fairly, and serve everyone. I entered this race because I believe Huntington’s future depends on responsible growth, clean water, safe streets, and equal opportunity for every resident.

This campaign isn’t driven by party politics- it’s driven by people. I’m committed to bringing professionalism, integrity, and compassion to the Town Board, and ensuring every voice, in every community, is heard and respected.
