Our Strategy
BLVI will focus on five key areas to strengthen the collective voice of our community.
Civic Engagement
We will provide our communities with the information they need to hold their government representatives accountable on the issues that matter to them most.
Policy Advocacy
We will advocate for and with our communities to push back against harmful agendas and support those that uplift our people.
Voter Education
We will create opportunities for Black voters to learn about candidates running for election in their districts so they can make informed decisions at the polls.
Endorsements
We will support candidates and elected officials that have proven their commitment to fighting for policies and laws that positively impact the quality of life for our people, and against anything that does not.
Training
We will create access to training and job opportunities for people in our communities to participate in issue-based and political campaigns.
