BVLI’s Next Gen Black Leadership Series

Campaign Staff Training Bootcamp

Our Campaign Staff Training Bootcamp is a groundbreaking leadership and campaign development initiative we are launched in JULY 2025. This project is designed to equip the next generation of Black campaign professionals with the tools, knowledge, and networks they need to build winning campaigns and transform Long Island politics from the ground up.

Over two weekends, July 11-12 and July 18-19 2026 from 9:30AM-3:30PM at Hofstra University and one virtual session on July 15 6PM-9PM, selected participants will engage in intensive in-person training sessions led by experienced political strategists, elected officials, policy experts, and community organizers. Through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on simulations, the training series will demystify the political process and help build a stronger bench of Black campaign talent across Long Island.
