When in office, what will you do to reduce harm and ensure there is social and economic equity for Black Long Islanders? If you are an incumbent, what policies/initiatives/laws have you supported that do this?
I have implemented diversity, equity, and inclusive policies at my office by hiring all minorities. I also meet with the department heads regularly to encourage and demand more minority hirees.

As the first Latino ever elected to the Town of Islip Council, I know the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). It creates a more fair and impartial representative workforce that improves public services to a community
