When in office, what will you do to reduce harm and ensure there is social and economic equity for Black Long Islanders? If you are an incumbent, what policies/initiatives/laws have you supported that do this?

I am committed to bringing more social and economic opportunities to underrepresented communities, not only in District 1, but also throughout Long Island. As demonstrated by my history of service, I have prioritized funding, policies, and programmatic support for Workforce Development, Re-entry Programs, Entrepreneurship, Workforce Housing, child care, and early-learning initiatives.

I am also committed to maintaining Nassau County as the safest County in the nation, and finding ways to leverage resources and reduce taxes while preserving our suburban quality of life.

I am a "community 1st" candidate. I have always prioritized the needs of the communities I serve above partisan politics. I have a proven record of successfully engaging bipartisan support for community-driven projects.
