Candidate Questionnaire Responses
When in office, what will you do to reduce harm and ensure there is social and economic equity for Black Long Islanders? If you are an incumbent, what policies/initiatives/laws have you supported that do this?
As a New York State Assemblyman, I intend to continue to fight for the Black Long Islanders as I have fought for the residents of the Village of Hempstead. I will fight for state funding for the residents and communities that I will represent. I plan on addressing the impact of charter schools on school budgets in minority communities. I will fight for fair representation, treatment and safety of Black Long Islanders. I will fight for equal opportunities and education for black students throughout my district. I plan to continue in my father's footsteps as a civil rights advocate.
Is there anything else you'd like us to know about your campaign?
I plan to have an open door policy for all of my constituents and look forward to fighting for equality and opportunities for all.
