While in office, I sponsored and passed a bill to address housing discrimination. Requiring Standardized Intake Procedures for Real Estate Professionals Legislation (S.2131-A/A.6186) It is vital that people are treated equally and fairly when purchasing a home. For far too long there have been inequalities in this process on Long Island and throughout New York State. This bill, signed by Governor Hochul 0n 12/21/21, will ensure that homebuyers are not discriminated against.

While in office, I was able to allocate abundant funding for police and fire departments, school, libraries, and valued non-profits like the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Rockville Centre, and Bethany House which serves women in crisis and their families in southwestern Nassau and I aim to do this again along with giving AD21 a voice in Albany, having sway on policy and major budget allocations.
I am proud to have received a wide tent of endorsements from major unions and organizations. This is key because these unions and organizations represent the teachers, school administrators, police officers, firefighters, EMS workers, skilled laborers, healthcare workers, etc who make up the diversified constituency of AD21.
I am also a Moms Demand Gun Sense candidate since it is vital that we protect our communities from gun violence. I am proud to be endorsed by NYLCV & Sierra Club because preserving a clean, healthy, & resilient environment is essential.
