When in office, what will you do to reduce harm and ensure there is social and economic equity for Black Long Islanders? If you are an incumbent, what policies/initiatives/laws have you supported that do this?

I’m committed to having a workforce that reflects the diversity of our community. I am proud of the diversity that is reflected in the hiring I have undertaken while in office. Additionally, my office has served as a proactive resource for distributing information about services and programs to the public that enhance economic stability and growth for individuals and families.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know about your campaign?

I’m seeking re-election because I love serving the residents of Huntington. I’m committed to providing exceptional constituent services and running an efficient, effective and accessible office. As an African-American, I am sensitive to the importance of treating each person with respect and professionalism. I consider it a privilege to serve the public. I have received several endorsements including NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, Long Island Federation of Labor and Local 1199
