Candidate Questionnaire Responses

When in office, what will you do to reduce harm and ensure there is social and economic equity for Black Long Islanders? If you are an incumbent, what policies/initiatives/laws have you supported that do this?

I would work hard to address issues of social and economic equality for Black Huntington residents. As an educator, I would do my best to offer programs and resources to our youth that would help keep them on the right track. This would include being a loud voice to advocate for building the long-promised Family Rec Center for the families of Huntington Station. I'd also address the issue of affordable housing in our area, to increase the amount of clean, modern housing for single-income earners and our work force.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know about your campaign?

If elected, I plan on treating it as a full-time job and won't be working any other job at the same time. This will give me the time and opportunity to advocate for our community and township wherever and whenever needed. It will also allow me ample time to lobby our county and state officials for the resources we need.
