Candidate Questionnaire Responses

When in office, what will you do to reduce harm and ensure there is social and economic equity for Black Long Islanders? If you are an incumbent, what policies/initiatives/laws have you supported that do this?

As an elected official, I would commit to giving Black Long Islanders a seat at the table. As a Black Long Islander myself, I know what it's like to not be heard, have your opinion and needs marginalized and with my seat at the table comes a seat for all Black Long Islanders. Long Beach recently released a Comprehensive Plan with little input from our community, and as a Councilman I would revisit this plan with input from our community. Reinvestigate the plan through the scope of direct benefit to the Black Long Island community, economically and socially.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know about your campaign?
